High school students in grades 9-12 could apply to attend the 2022 STEM Camps. There will be additional camp opportunities in the summer of 2023.  Applications for the camps will be available in January or February of 2023. Space will be limited and based on leaders and site facilities.  Location will be determined by the teachers hosting the camps.

Camps are part of a NSF grant, which includes a research study titled, “Quantum for All Students”. Students can choose to participate in this research study if you have permission from your parents (if under the age of 18). Your decision about whether to participate is entirely up to you. If you decide not to be in the study, there won’t be any punishment or penalty; whatever your choice, there will be no impact on participation in the camp. You can still participate in the camp if you don’t participate in the research

Locations for the 2022 Camps included Arlington and Katy, TX, Baltimore MD, and Provo, UT. Topics Included:

  • Engineering Design
  • 3-D printing
  • Coding
  • Internet Security (QKD)
  • STEM career opportunities
